Throwback to Tom‘s Spirit Week: Good Will Thursday

Throwback Thursday on Tom‘s Spirit Week‘s: Good Will Thursday

(The last thursday before Tom‘s birthday)

Photo: CatConnect

#TomsSpiritWeek For today‘s theme #GoodWillThursday I chose to support charities. Since I already have donated for both of the Tom Hiddleston birthday Fundraisers for Unicef, I chose Animals Syria - CatConnect. I chose to donate the exact amount I had paid for an event which got canceled (and so was refunded to me).
#CatConnect is on my list for charities I wanted to support since I saw the episode of husky Zeus on Dogs (Netflix documentary). As I got a big heart for animals and I want them to live a happy and safe life, the episode touched me very much. The episode is about a Syrian refugee. His dog Zeus remained in Syria for several years before enlisting the help of Animals Syria to make the reunion possible.
Text from CatConnect:
Animals Syria is a nonprofit foundation that works to protect and rescue strays in Syria. We are a group of animal lovers trying to give a better living conditions to all neglected, injured and abandoned animals.
For more information I‘d like to direct you to their Facebook Page I mentioned in the top section. #Hiddlestoners more than just fans of #TomHiddleston, we care for the world, for every human being, but also for our 4 legged friends and all animals in the world! They all deserve to be treated with lots of care!

What‘s your center?

What‘s your center?

What inspires you?

Today I participated in a workshop in which they had thought of a dice game. In stead of numbers, the dice had questions/subjects on them which were meant to give the conversation (you were practicing) a subject or to lead it. The game had 6 dices, with the subject decided by the first one. You could chose a simple one, for a start: if you don‘t really know the person a head of you. Or one which asked you to talk about a WOW factor in your life or a complete failure/bad choice you made. Well, I didn't knew the person who sat in front of me very well, so we chose the first dice. While I read the different subjects which had subjects like; talk about your fave movie, your hobby, the favorite trip you took. Going deeper in those with the other dices, I came to one conclusion: they all lead me to ONE center.

Now what do you mean by a center you ask? Something which means a lot for you, something which gives you inspiration (a word I use a lot, because it has brought me this much), something what makes you happy. Perhaps you can see it as something (almost) spiritual, because spirituality is all about discovering who you are by seeking it inside of you; your inner center.

Here I have four of those subjects simplified on a table by using post-its. I left out the questions from the other dices, nonetheless they probably had me ended at the same spot.. During my conversation my subject was to describe what my favorite trip meant for me. What life experience had it brought me? It had to do with standing on my own feet a little, being able to find my way in a city I barely know. (Now I know, it isn't really hard to find your way with the London Underground..) Then the other person threw the following question: 'Who would you like to meet?' (between marks it said something like: who‘s able to help you forward?) Speaking of London, you probably don‘t have to guess which name I named. When I named Tom Hiddleston, the person I spoke with immediately asked: Who? But when I told her how much he inspired me to start writing and to step out of my comfort zone, she got really impressed.

The answers you give on the subjects (blue post-its) are supposed to be the ones you first think off. If I was meant to rethink my whole life, I probably had came up with another one for 'Fave feeling'. But that‘s not the point, these things can change. They do all the time. In a few years after I have held my first baby for the first time, for sure there will be something else written on that yellow note..

If you see the picture, I‘m sure I don‘t need to explain why I got Loki listed as a center at 'Fave movie' & 'Fave hobby' and the other 2 I've already addressed a little. Of course when you think of London, you can name a lot of things but Tom was the first to came into my mind. Perhaps that had something to do with my 2 dreams I had last night: In both of my dreams I was going to see Betrayal. (Which I thought of doing, but couldn't take the final step.) I‘d like to analyze my dreams: In both of the dreams I traveled with someone who wasn't so thrilled about going to see the play. Which I think can be explained as: I need to make my own choices. I‘m the leader of my path, I‘m the one I should relay on. Because in both of the dreams it should have been better for me if I traveled alone, perhaps I will one day: who knows? In the first dream, everything went wrong. Everything was late, obstacles, distractions.. the theatre was impossible to find. Even Google Maps couldn't find it! In the end: I was too late to see the play. What do you think this means? Fear? Or had this actually happened if I had decided to go there.. I don‘t quite know yet. My other dream clearly came from the stage door photo which got spread online the other day. This time, the theatre was easy to find and there was a line at the stage door.. I did see the play, but the dream doesn't actually show me. Later I‘m in the line for hoping to meet talk/get a picture with Tom. The line is moving fast, thank God. I know I got to see him, but again the dream apparently pressed a 'fast-forward' button because it doesn't show me! Then I‘m meeting up with a few of you I recognized from IG & FB. Hiddleston_Hideaway, you were there! But I was tired and all I wanted to do is getting some sleep.. I don‘t really know what to think of that dream, but I remember waking up with a restless feeling.

Let‘s get to: 'Fave feeling'. Writing about Loki probably came popped up, because I do that a lot lately. In fact I just finished another chapter the other day (while I have the next one finished in my head as well..). Writing about Loki gives me such an incredible happy feeling, which probably more fan-fiction writers will understand. It brings me to their fantasy world, it brings me to Asgard. They don‘t say for nothing: writing is good for your personal development. It sure has given me confidence and fun.

If you came to this point I‘ll thank you for reading my whole blog. I just wanted to share this, I am not asking you to grab your post-its as well. (As a matter of fact I don‘t think I will again any soon either). But I do want to ask you to think about what does inspire you at the moment? What is your current center? What makes you happy? What pops up into your mind? I‘ll invite you to take a moment for yourself and listen to your own inner voice.

Stuttgart Loki Funko Pop Custom

Stuttgart Loki Funko Pop Custom

Photo: BB Customs
A little while I requested this Stuttgart Loki as a custom. I still think FunkoPop could have made some more Loki pops, for example this one and his Avengers look in full custom. (read: with the hair and helmet!)

I did some photo-shopping but you know what I mean..

Sketch by BB Customs

This Loki is made by BB Customs, a very talented Dutch lady as you can see in the pictures! Now I got to think of some more Loki Avengers Funko Fun moments ;). I did a lot of Thor Ragnarok Moments. (Get Help, Loki Statue, Dr. Strange..)
Get Help part 1 (Follow @Loki_FunkoFun at IG for more)

Loki‘s Statue in Asgard

Did a quick edit, don‘t mind the background errors:

The following pictures are mine too:

Hello Thomas Sharpe..

Loki came with a Box too!

Scepter details

Dr. Strange & Iron Man had to move a little, as they first stood there..

I got him between Cap Loki (another custom, someone switched the heads for me, because I was afraid to break them..) and Bucky. Don‘t they make a great team?  I would love to see Bucky and Loki teaming up in a future film/series! Wouldn't you?

I already know what my next custom will be. Tom Hiddleston!
Navy or Red sweater.. Any suggestions??

Would you like to see some behind the scenes photo‘s of Betrayal?

Jamie Lloyd has tweeted some photo‘s of Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Cox and Zawe Ashton while they were doing rehearsals for Betrayal. The pictures are taken by Marc Brenner.

Here you can find all of them:

I think the photo‘s look amazing and this is going to be something to look forward to!
I want to ask my followers who are attending Betrayal to tell me all about it after you went!
Thanks! :)

I know some of you are traveling from the other side of the world to see Betrayal. I'm very proud for all who took that step!

[long pause]

A step that I couldn't get myself to take yet.

While,

[long pause]

from my country the traveling time probably is shorter then the famous Pinter pauses!

(I'm sorry that was a bad joke and also not true.)

Betrayal hits the theatre in the beginning of March until June! If you don't have tickets yet, you can still purchase them. And I believe they haven't released the £15 tickets for people below 30 yet!

'The Loki Series' is taking a huge step forward!

"Disney and Marvel's Loki show with Tom Hiddleston is taking a huge step forward"

The title of this article of DigitalSpy sounds very promising.

Marvel Studios
This is what the article is saying:

Marvel's in-development Loki TV show has bagged itself a showrunner. Tasked with bringing Tom Hiddleston's beloved God of Mischief to the small screen on Disney's streaming platform, Rick and Morty writer Michael Waldron has been hired to write the pilot, executive produce and create the series (via The Hollywood Reporter).

As for narrative details (remember, Loki was murdered by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War), it's being reported that the show will follow the shapeshifting trickster as he weaves through historical human events – becoming an influencer in many surprising situations. Will he carve the iceberg that sunk the Titanic, or could Loki in fact be the chief visionary behind the great pyramids of Egypt? Probably not, but you get the idea.

Recently, Hiddleston appeared on Zoe Ball's Radio 2 Breakfast Show to give an update on the Loki series. "We're currently in the process of polishing up what it will be: the ideas, the story, the pitch," he teased. "But it's definitely happening."

"Disney are launching a streaming service called Disney+, and I'm not sure exactly when that will be live, but anything that's ever been made by Disney will be on that thing," he added. "So whether it's The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars and Marvel and Pixar will all be part of that. So you'll be wanting to subscribe."

--

I’m not really into Rick & Morty, but this does sound very promising. But will this be a cartoon or not? The only thing we can do now is speculate and wait. To be continued I guess..

Happy Valentine‘s Day!

What is Valentine‘s Day?

Valentine‘s Day is an excuse to make a Tom edit like this..

Doesn't it sound romantic, Valentine‘s day? But for real I‘m only getting flooded with Valentine commercials for make-up, parfum and among others, yes I have to admit cute fluffy stuff. In short: presents.. And today I got reminded to the fact I perhaps need to unsubscribe me from a few newsletters..

In the media it’s all about buying presents for each other. Totally unnecessary, if you ask me. I mean, I shall not have hearts in my eyes for a random scent. First of all, men mostly don’t know which kind of parfum women like and second of all, long before I‘m out of parfum, I got my stock refilled myself! Where did the time of handwritten letters and cards go? Or perhaps a long e-mail, fine too. Don’t tell me I‘m the only woman, longing to find a lovely letter from her partner (or the man who adores her) in her mailbox? (Instead of the usual boring mail..)

Actually I don’t see Valentine’s Day as a special day, this evening I even got a work related meeting! Perhaps someone will bring heart-shaped chocolates, who knows. That’s something I do love, chocolate! Love, (according to what people say here) nowadays is through the stomach. Especially for men! However on my imaginary wish list, love in words and (written) feelings still ends op higher! What about you?

Milka! Why haven‘t I got me those?

Besides, spreading love (in any way whatsoever) is something we should do every day, not just on Valentine’s day!

Bonus: last year‘s edit.

Valentine Fun

If the Loki Series were a Cartoon Network series..

Luckily the Loki Series will be a Disney serie, imagine if it was a Cartoon Network series. However I would most definitely fall off my chair if Avengers Endgame would end like this! Sorry about this! My normal Valentine‘s Day post comes later today :).

Who is 'Goddess of Loki?'

I figured eventually my blog needs a post in which I am introducing myself. And I‘ll better do this is in my early days, hopefully I haven‘t reached much readers yet so not many people get to know what kind of common person the person who calls herself the 'Goddess of Loki' actually is..

By start the people who know me don‘t call me 'Goddess of Loki', most of them don‘t even know I got social media accounts named after that, let along if they even know who Loki is. No, people call me Nicole because well.. that‘s my name. And at the moment I‘m still 27 years old. I do live in a very small town in a country shaped like a hand glove. Do you know what country I mean? (The Netherlands.)

When you are writing an introducing about yourself, you probably also need to include a picture of yourself right? Well, here is one. It‘s a picture of me in London, taken October 2017. Yes, I got Tom‘s photo (taken circa on the same spot) blended into mine which in results have you focused on Tom instead of me! People say I look good on pictures, others say I‘m posing which makes me look the same on every single picture. I haven‘t really been into having my photo taken lately, so I don‘t have many recent ones.

What more shall I write about myself? I actually found some questions which according to Woman‘s HealthForbes can help get to know someone. So I shall answer a few!

1. What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Watching tv (shows, films with or without Tom in them), writing, reading, in general relaxing and sometimes I like to go out with friends.

2. What type of music are you into?
Rock music mainly! I really like 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s.

3. What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
London 2017, it‘s just an amazing city!

4. Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?
Ah, I thought this question would come.. Scotland! I would really like to go to Scotland!
I think it‘s a really beautiful country with stunning nature. And I‘d like to see Lake Lochness!

5. What are your hobbies and how did you get into them?
My biggest hobby is writing and actually I started as a kid. I wrote little stories in my notebooks at school (I remember something about twin sisters) and Loki / Tom Hiddleston inspired me to write nowadays. And I also like to be social with friends and family (Theatre, films, dinners or just an evening at the cafe) and I like to have fun with my dogs. And walking is something I do a lot too lately!

6. Was the last thing you read digital or in print?
The person who thought of this question could have been a little more clearer. Do they mean a book or just read something in general? Than it‘s probably an article about Tom.

7. Would you say you’re more of an extrovert or an introvert?
Introvert, that‘s for sure!

8. Are you at all religious or spiritual?
Yes, I am very spiritual! It‘s something I really relay on. Am I religious? I do believe in God (And not just in the God called Loki..)

9. What are you most proud of in the last year?
How much I have grown in my English writing. You should see something I wrote like two years ago, I‘m still working on some adjustments in my older work.

10. What’s a relationship deal breaker for you?
Cheating. I can‘t stand cheating!

11. What is your definition of success?
If something makes you happy, you are successful!

12. Who do you admire most in the world?
Do I seriously need to answer this question?? The answer is the person I dedicates this blog to! But besides him I also really admire my family members and some people had to deal with a lot of difficulty.

13. If you won a million dollars, what would you do with the money?
I seriously don‘t know. Do a few nice things and find some good organisations to support, but other than that I wouldn't want many people to know.

14. What do you regret not doing in the last year?

A part of me wanted to go to one of the Ace Comic Cons, but it would have probably had been too much for me to take..

15. If you found out today was your last day on Earth, what would you do?
Then I won‘t have enough time to do the thing I would want to do..

16. If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Transporting myself from one place to another. No more long traveling! Wouldn't that be amazing?

17. If you came back in your next life as an animal, what animal would you be?
A tiger, a dog or a dolphin

18. What’s your favorite book?
Hard to pick one, I like so many books but to call one a favorite.. Then I‘ll go for The Gospel Of Loki.

19. What was your favorite subject in school?
English/Dutch & Drawing.

20. What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?
Uhh a barber because I liked to cut the barbie‘s hair..

21. If you could invite 3 people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be, and why?
Tom Hiddleston, Kurt Cobain & Chris Hemsworth. This would be the weirdest party ever..

22. Do you ever find there are things about you that people misunderstand? What are they?

My psychical condition and the things that I am interested in, like Loki..

23. What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned?

A black laced dress, but I actually don‘t wear it often.

24. What fictional place / movie universe would you most like to go?
Asgard! Dreaming away with Loki below the beautiful Asgard sky..

Enough questions answered!

Thor the Dark World

I could have just discussed all the films Loki was part of in the right order. But I don‘t do a lot in the standard way, so I just start with my favorite one:

Thor the Dark World!

I think this movie didn't gotten the credit it deserved. I‘m not exactly thrilled about the scenes on earth with Jane and the other folks, so I just don‘t address that furthermore. Shall I just continue my post about our favorite? Loki!

Favorite Introduction:

In the Avengers we see Loki looking as a mess at first sight, (Of course he made all women worldwide faint a few scenes later, with him staring in their souls while the guards guide him away. Even Bruce Banner got distracted by that look!) here we see the opposite. I can‘t help but saying that he just looks extremely attractive in those chains! I don‘t know how many time was meant to be passed, but he surely doesn't look like he just got Hulk Smashed! The way we get to see him walking towards -there‘s the minor point..- Odin. In between he asked his mother if he made her proud. Also I like the scenes with Frigga and Loki very much. If you ask me I think, despite that he wasn't her real son, she favored Loki over Thor. Yes, I love this introduction. I have played this DVD like a thousand of times, so I usually just skip the prologue part and my movie starts with this scene. :)

Favorite quote:

"If it were easy, everyone would do it."
And of course, off-screen at the end of the scene:
"Ta-daa!"

I still use this scene (in a shorter version) as my ringtone. So when I got my sound on and someone sends me a message, suddenly Loki is talking in my pants. When alone I‘ll let it continue until "Ta-daa!", but people usually find it annoying. Likewise Thor thinks the same of his brother, during this scene and before! That‘s also the thing I love most about this film: The intercourse between Thor & Loki. Thor, as irritated as he feels about it, once again discovers that he needs Loki. Of course we can‘t look into Loki‘s head, but I think in a way he felt the same way.

The picture says: "Fave 'Irritate Thor' Loki". (I could not have named it: "Favorite interacting like brothers", because in both this film and in Thor: Ragnarok I equally like their interacting.) I've got it  addressed a little already, but I‘d like to add how much I enjoy their spaceship scene. Thor being stressed about flying the ship, pressing all buttons with Loki breathing down his spine, telling him to press it gently. That scene always cracks me up! Loki, clearly had wanted Thor to hand over the ship to him, commenting about how his brother just decapitated his grandfather. With this 'Loki commentary' he had pushed his brother to his limits, and as a result Thor threw Loki out. Is it an idea to rerelease this film, with nothing but Loki commentary during the whole film?

Favorite Illusion:

In my opinion, too much Loki scenes got cut in Thor the Dark World. (Perhaps because otherwise they could have better named the movie: Loki the Dark World..) But if I should name one they should not had cut out, I‘m not naming this one. I‘m naming the scene in which you see Loki scream loudly after he just heard about his mother‘s death. In the movie we only get to see him moving his furniture, while this extended scene showed much more of his emotions! It showed that he cared deeply, that also the God of Mischief is a man with real feelings. Of course for us it‘s obvious Loki isn't heartless, even though his actions and words have not always shown that. We read it off his face (right?). But when I‘m talking to someone who doesn't understand his character, they describe him as a selfish, heartless dirty bull. Unfortunately for some, Loki still is a misunderstood character.

But luckily, the deleted scenes are out there for us to see. And this is one of my favorite because it‘s full of fun! Loki dressed as a King, raising Mjolnir and getting a lot of glory from the folks. An illusion created by Loki. The scene in Thor: Ragnarok (Hela demanding the folks to kneel before her), reminds me of this scene. Loki really has developed himself in Ragnarok, but sometimes I think it‘s funny to wonder: Is Loki really the adopted one? ;)

Fave Ending:

Once you have seen the after credits scenes, you don‘t have to see them again. At least, that‘s what I thought. For me the movie starts with Loki and ends with him + the lovely Thor the Dark World music which comes after. Once I said: "Marvel shall never outdo the strong vibe this ending had.", and several movies further I still agree with myself. The best fatherly advise Thor ever got, didn't even came from his father. As if Loki just knew Thor would have turned around while walking away (imagine if he did..), he transformed (looking just as attractive like in the introduction) back to himself and softly said: 'No, thank you..' Gold!

I got to see this movie again!

Monday 11 February 2019

Just another Monday

Monday morning:

This Monday morning after Tom Hiddleston‘s birthday weekend (Or perhaps birthday week is a better thing to say!) for me feels as a extra extra ordinary Monday. Just like for most people, Monday is my least favorite day.

In London last weekend was all about BAFTA (The British Academy of Film and Television Arts). On Friday they had the BAFTA Film Gala at the Savoy Hotel which Tom attended and the yearly BAFTA awards took place on Sunday. However I don‘t know if he was there on Sunday. Hopefully he spend the weekend with his family, celebrating his birthday. I highly appreciate him being involved with such good organisations like BAFTA who have their focuses on the talents of the people, not their backgrounds.

Credit: BAFTA
But I just can‘t help but thinking about how events like these have another darker side. I‘m referring to something about Friday‘s event. I came across a bunch of photo‘s on Facebook; not the one above, but perhaps they weren‘t taken much later. You see Tom leaving the hotel, walking towards the car. He doesn't even have the chance to step in without someone shoving something to sign below his nose! It was a picture of Loki, I don‘s assume it‘s urgent for him to see a photo of Loki he already has seen a thousand times before.. (Only for us fans seeing a photo of Loki is urgent;)) I mean come on! I know he‘s a very popular actor, you do not need to tell me that. But give the man a break! I assumed the pictures were taken after 00.00, so it was his birthday already. I‘ll bet people who are just after his autograph, (to resell it probably) don‘t know it was the man‘s birthday and don‘t even care. Other than that I know this wasn't the first time and unfortunately will not be last time. These people have ruined red carpet events (by rudely jumping the queue) for true fans who managed to get there earlier, and they will continue doing that. That‘s the reason why there‘s not even one hair on my head wanting to be standing in such a crowded place anyway. We live in a world where a lot of people have lost true dignity. People are forgetting that celebrities are no objects. They are forgetting they are just as human as we all are.

Apart from that, I really hope Tom had a lovely weekend. I would like to end this post with a positive photo from last weekend: namely Tom Hiddleston with BAFTA Young Presenter Braydon Bent.

Loki‘s Birthday

'Loki‘s Birthday'

From 'a Loki Novel Part II' by Nicole (@Goddess_Of_Loki)

This is a chapter from my Loki story.
It's Loki's birthday and if you have read this, you might understand why Loki doesn't like to celebrate his birthday.

Loki and Bonnie: halfway during her pregnancy, were on the way to their old house in New York. Loki had their son, meanwhile a toddler in his arms. ‘Your recordings for ‘Mischief with Loki’ is planned for tomorrow, does that mean we can celebrate your birthday tonight?’, Bonnie asked. ‘We can, as soon as Tony left the house. He wants to discuss tomorrow‘s show. I don‘t want him to know it‘s my birthday, because then he‘ll plan me a surprise-party for the weekend. I don‘t have the best memories about his parties and I really hate surprises!’ Loki was referring to the Halloween Party thrown by Tony, which he had almost banned from his mind. Loki had always been the one who handed out the, not all that pleasant surprises. But as controlled-minded as he was, he didn‘t really appreciated receiving one back. ‘I‘m highly relieved Thor is on some kind of quest in another realm, because his drunken ‘Happy Birthday Loki’ speech is the worst! He never even has my age right’, Loki took a deep breath.
‘You refused to reveal your true age to me’, Bonnie mentioned while she walked towards their front door. She wondered if Tony Stark had hired someone to clean the house every now and then while they were away. She expected to walk in the worst scenario. ‘Because for you it‘s not important to know how old I am. My brother on the other hand, he should know. I remember his age!’
Little Loki babbled enthusiastic, what was his usual expression when he saw something which looked weird in his eyes. Other than ‘Mommy’, ‘Dada’ and ‘Loki’ (spoken as Lodi) he only knew a few words, but he was a clever little man just like his father. He pointed his finger at the car which stood on the neighbour’s driveway. ‘That‘s a car little man. Humans need them to drive in from place to place, because luckily not all of them are able to fly just like Iron Man can. But don‘t worry, soon we‘ll be back in Asgard again’, Loki explained.
Loki closed the front door behind him. He still carried little Loki, who became a little restless because he lost the sight of his mommy. The place was dark. All the shutters were closed. ‘Sweetie, don't worry. Mommy is right here. She just needs to find the light switch’. Hearing her voice reassured the little guy. ‘This is because you let him sleep in our bed that often! It's because I didn't fit in his crib, otherwise you had let me sleep in there!’
‘Knock it off Loki, he's just a replica of you!’, Bonnie replied while she was still looking for the light switch. ‘Just be careful darling, don‘t fall. I wouldn‘t be surprised if Tony used our house as a storehouse for his junk while we were gone!’ Also, according to Loki the place smelled funny. ‘He‘ll better not be late!’, Loki complained. At the moment Bonnie pressed the light switch, she said: ‘I‘ll make you some coffee already and I‘ll make sure the water for the tea is heated before he‘s here’.
‘SURPRISE!’
Beyond happy they looked; Thor with his twin-daughters who both wore a pink party hat and Tony Stark who wore a copy of Loki‘s helmet, backwards. ‘Jesus! I almost dropped my son!’, like lightning just blasted Loki‘s face. He was definitely not happy, while Bonnie tried to hide her smiles. ‘I thought you weren‘t here’, Loki said to his brother while he sat down little Loki on the floor. Immediately he crawled towards the twins, with a big smile on his little cute face. ‘That‘s what I wanted you to think. You don‘t like our surprise?’, Thor answered.
‘No!’

Happy Birthday Tom Hiddleston

(Blog made on February 10th, so yes this is from yesterday..)

Tom Hiddleston turned 38 on February 9th, 2019

Favorite Tom Hiddleston Friday

#TomsSpiritWeek #FavoriteTomFriday

I would like to share Friday‘s post with you.

For today I made again 3 collages. The first collage‘s theme is my favorite Tom Hiddleston‘s moments from his 37th birthday – today. Here they come:

1. *Since I saw Early Man after the man‘s 37th birthday, I made an exception for this. In Early Man Tom does the voice of bad guy Lord Nooth. We know Tom is the king of accents! Here you can hear Tom do a French accent. There is a bath scene in which Lord Nooth gets an massage, you just got to see the Behind The Scenes footage of that! I really loved all the extra footage on the DVD.
2. The promotion he did for Avengers Infinity War even though his character only was seen in the first 5 minutes. Also for knowing Loki‘s ‘fate’ in this movie for more than 2 years..
3. Tom Hiddleston as Mary Poppins, or do I need to say: Mary Ploppins? Tom starred in the short video ‘Leading Lady Parts’ from which in the end you saw posters of Tom being the lead female role in films such as Mary Poppins & Wonder Woman. Leading Lady Parts sarcastically shows how hard the movie industry for women can be. Leading Lady Parts (produced by Rebel Park Productions) is an initiative of the Hear Her campaign in the United Kingdom, in which women who are normally not heard are given the opportunity to give their opinion on all kinds of subjects. In this short movie actresses audition do a serious role, but get the craziest requests. This becomes painfully clear when the casting agent, played by Catherine Tate, proclaims: 'It's not rocket science darling. We're just asking you to be thin and curvy, sexy and innocent. Thin, sexy, hooker, virgin with boobs and hips. " In the end because of the casting Agent pickiness, Tom Hiddleston is given the female roles instead. I appreciate it a lot that Tom is part of projects about women‘s rights. We all deserve to be treated fairly and not to be judged because of the way we look.
Tom said about this:
“I had so much admiration for everyone who's come forward and spoken up, and the movement of Time's Up and Me Too. I wanted to find a way to help but I was very conscious of it not being necessarily my story. First thing I felt that it was important to do very actively was to listen, to read, to hear so that women could tell their stories and begin to talk about how we might change the environment.” Time's Up
4. Suddenly out of the blue, there was this picture of Tom Hiddleston & Josh Wilson posted by Wilson Worldwide Productions Something about a secret project. I‘m still very curious, because we still don‘t know what it is! I think it‘s something very spectacular! We got something to look forward to! He also posted a second photo (that‘s the one in the collage) in which he tagged me & a few other Tom Hiddleston/Loki fan accounts in. That totally made my day, so thank you Josh!
5. This stands for all the Comic Cons he did. He healed a lot of fan‘s hearts (Which were still broken because of Infinity War). And even those who weren‘t there (including me) this angel reached with his wings. There were plenty of lovely pictures, lovely footage of the Panel‘s. I personally loved his face expression when a little boy asked him if Loki was truly dead. There also was this moment Tom said the words: “Know you are not alone!”, which meant a lot to me. We all have obstacles to face and unfortunately most of us had to deal with bullies (in the past). But where I‘m mostly grateful for is the fact that for every con there were fans collecting fans letters from all over the world, bonded in fan-books. Therefore I know a few of my letters, cards (Christmas card, Birthday card) are given to him! I think we can be blessed to be in such a wonderful fandom! ACE Comic Con.
6. On the 30th October Tom and Josie Rourke talked at the Alan Howard / JW3 Speaker Series. It was a lovely and inspiring interview, I was able to watch later on Youtube. He talked about how he stepped out of his comfort zone, which has inspired me to do the same. When I hear this man talk about acting; whether it‘s in film, series or theatre; it‘s so so visible I‘m listening to a man who found his passion and as I said it before: He truly has put his heart and soul it. Perhaps I do not know how to properly bring this into words, but I hope you understand what I mean. I think many people can see him as an example, given the fact for example how he has grown in +/- 20 years. From liking to do voices as a kid to this passion and talent which goes much deeper than just the word ‘acting’. He does inspire people to go take their passion to the next level as well.
7. Tom Hiddleston‘s first social media post in (what was it?) 2 years: Loki. More stories to tell. More mischief to make. More to come. That literally broke the internet! What Ralph Breaks the Internet? No, Tom Hiddleston breaks the internet! The #LokiSeries (#Disney+) confirmed by the man himself! I‘m so excited for this whole thing. Patient, patient.. But I‘m freaking out inside! Can‘t wait!
8. Tom also did a lot for charity this year. The picture that I chose is Tom visit to the Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children's Charity. He gave the children something they‘ll never forget! Online you were able to write a Christmas wish for the children, which got printed on a Christmas Stocking. On the photo he holds (I assume) his message for the Children. In general he did a lot for Children this year. Tom also donated for the Justice and Equality Fund which was all about the issues of sexual harassment and gender inequality. I remember people said Tom was late during the Avengers Infinity War screening/premiere in London, he met with children in co-operation from the Starlight Children's Foundation before. I cannot think of a better reason to be late for an official event .
9. This photo is taken by BBC Radio 2 during the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. It‘s truly one of my favorite pictures yet! There he spoke about ‘Betrayal’ which will be hitting the theatre in London next month. He also spoke a little about the Loki Series & about the Nightmanager season 2, but he wasn‘t alowed to say much about it yet. What better to start your Friday morning (it was a Friday) with then listening to Tom‘s voice on the radio! They also had some real good music in-between the talks. I heard ABBA, Journey (Don‘t stop Believing) & a live performance of a song of No Doubt. Also they spoke about the film 'Mary Queen of Scots' which premiered that week. I found it very impressive!

The second collage shows some random pictures of Tom I really like + my favorite roles he portrayed other than Loki! Those are Thomas Sharpe in ‘Crimson Peak’, Hank Williams in ‘I Saw The Light’ (the image shows my fave scene: the Baby scene!), Prince Hal in ‘The Hollow Crown’ (I am planning to do a Hollow Crown marathon tomorrow on his birthday!) and I just found out F. Scott Fitzgerald from ‘Midnight in Paris’ is missing. I‘ve watched that film on his birthday last year. In Midnight in Paris a writer (Owen Wilson) literally finds his inspiration in the 20s. And one of my favorite moments of Tom still is when a baby easily got him distracted during an Avengers Interview. He turns to the baby and says: “Hello baby..”, so adorable!

Last collage is dedicated to Loki! (How else, this blog isn‘t called Goddess of Loki for nothing!)
I chose some nice photo‘s I hadn‘t used for We Share What We Want Wednesday yet + a few of my fave LokiTom moments.
